Research and Development

 

Mansoora Homoeo Pharma considers research and improvisation as a crux of its business. A library of substances and books are available at the research section to enhance the creativity of the pharmacists working to develop new and improved products.

Quality Control

The raw material arrives at the quarantine section in the warehouse and a sample is sent to the quality control, once approved the stock is moved to the respective area. In-process and finished products are also tested with highly sensitive and calibrated types of equipment. A batch wise retention sample of the finished product is stored by quality control for future reference.

Mother Tincture Department

According to Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeias, measured quantities of deionized water and ethyl alcohol are mixed with the tested herbs by Botanist from Quality Control.

The mixture is kept in maceration containers and percolation is also carried out when necessary. After the defined period, the product is separated from solid through state-of-the-art filtration unit which includes pre-filter and micro-filter, this unit is specially designed to cater the need of homoeopathic mother tincture.

Once the product is ready a retention sample is sent to quality control where it is tested according to pre-defined protocols which also include spectrophotometry.

This department serves as the foundation for all processes.

Potentization Department

At Mansoora Homoeo Pharma, dilutions are manually prepared under highly sensitive digital micropipettes which are calibrated regularly according to strictly defined SOP, by highly trained staff having the concept of homoeopathic dilution. A centesimal scale is used for a production of homoeopathic dilutions.

Syrup Department

Mansoora Homoeo Pharma has fully automated state-of-the-art liquid manufacturing plant developed by top-level companies, the syrup section has a production capacity of 5,200,000 units (120mL) per annum. The plant is operated by highly experienced and trained staff under the supervision of qualified production manager.
